Christian Coloring Book & Deeper Friendship

A Unique Christian Coloring Book

I love looking at all the coloring books in various stores but I must say that our Christian Coloring Book stands out from other coloring products out there because it was inspired by far more than a trend…

At this celebrating stage of birthing our  Coloring Book, my friend and co-author Leila Grandemange reminded me how important it was to let people know how UNIQUE our book is.

God infused our Christian coloring book with thousands of little messages ready to reach it’s readers hearts.

This is what makes our book unique. All these tiny messages are woven together through each part of the book—the paintings, coloring pages, devotionals and study questions. It’s really ONE message, aimed to help women flourish in faith!

My dear friend, your quiet time with the Lord is about to turn C O L O R F U L!

Forging a Deeper Friendship

When Leila and I started to discuss our project a little over a year ago, we had faith in what God was whispering in our hearts but nothing could have prepared us for the journey we were about to embark! Leila and I got to know each other’s hearts and we both were led to embrace our unique gifting and we quickly became a dreamy working duo!

While working on this project, our friendship flourished, and we were often encouraged and inspired by the other. This book is a beautiful example of what happens when women come together in faith and friendship to encourage one another through their gifts.

Often, after reading Leila’s devotionals, I feel equipped to go on with my day as she gives us wonderful insights on real issues we face daily in our life! She has a  wonderful way of weaving the Word of God while telling stories we truly can relate to.

These devotionals are treasures we get to cherish and read over and over again! It’s like going to a museum and looking at a painting multiple times…you always discover subtle details you hadn’t notice before. To me, these devotionals are like ART and I know many women will be blessed with them, and all the tiny messages woven together throughout this book!

Our Coloring Devotional, “Lord Help Me To Flourish” takes you through 15 themes from Flourishing Faith to Flourishing Love.  I enjoy them all, and Flourishing Friendship is one of my favorite. In this devotional Leila invites you to close your eyes and think of a friend as you reflect on the meaning of friendship.

As I closed my eyes, I thought about my friend Dixie Daly. Two years ago, God brought Dixie in my life and together we created a beautiful line of Greeting Cards called: Girlfriends’ Journey. This is another example of what happens when women come together in Faith & Friendship.

I am sure Dixie and Leila would agree with me that God is responsible for opening these wonderful doors of collaborations. I’d like to add that no-one has the power to stop you from accomplishing God’s will. We are the only ones that sometimes stop ourselves from flourishing in these opportunities.  One of my greatest wish for 2017 is that you let the Holy Spirit guide your every step towards happiness and fulfillment!

Nathalie Villeneuve is a Canadian-born visual artist. Her paintings are best described as Expressionist meets Parisian chic. Villeneuve’s, strong influence of Franz Marc, a German printmaker considered a pioneer of the German Expressionist movement, creates a series of heavy lines contrasting bright colors fading into soft brush strokes on canvas. Her body of work depicts women in dance, cinema, photography and even the mundane such as sitting at a Cafe or by the beach. The scenes she creates on canvas consists of elegant, long-legged feminine figures gracefully perched and seem frozen in time during moments of peaceful reflections. Villeneuve, a Meriden resident has shown her artwork at various galleries and venues in Connecticut and Canada. She now has a growing body of collectors throughout the U.S. Northeast. Ms. Villeneuve studied at the Dicksen Art Center/UCLA under Professor Roger Herman towards receiving her Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Art. For more information:
